WETCIT® adjuvant, incorporating two proprietary technologies, is an excellent spreader/wetter for foliar-applied contact pesticides and also the best penetrant for use with systemic pesticides and nutrients. Highly versatile, growers can tailor the action of WETCIT by using it at a lower rate for contact pesticide applications or at higher labeled rates for its penetrating action for use with systemic applications. 

The TransPhloem™ technology in WETCIT has demonstrated in University of Illinois radioisotope studies with glyphosate to translocate a higher concentration of a systemic pesticide, more rapidly, within a plant other types of adjuvants such as methylated seed oils, crop oil concentrates or non-ionic surfactants. This translates into a quicker kill on weeds and faster crop protection from insecticide and fungicide treatments.

WETCIT is also formulated using OROWET® technology. This patented process uses a blend of natural plant derived extracts and bio-degradable wetting agents to deliver highly effective penetrating properties. The superior spreading/wetting/penetration of WETCIT uniformly distributes the pesticide on the leaf surface, avoiding the potential for run-off often seen with silicone-based spreaders. It also improves pesticide performance by delivering it into hard-to-reach areas, like whorls, where pests and disease can hide from less effective adjuvant coverage.
